Tokyo's Keio University has recently built 2 eight - wheeled electric cars with a futuristic design. The are called the Eliicas and the university's team plans to manufacture 200 of those. Why eight wheels again?
Specs : Lithium - ion batteries on each wheel, 60 kilowatt engine, 230 - 250 mph top speed.
